The event included external speakers, such as impact investing managers at Credit Suisse, Lombard Odier and UBS or large pension fund managers such as Nest and Fundo in Switzerland. In particular, the company kicked off the day by presenting its new fund of fund in partnership with Gonet & Cie - Banquier Privés: Symbitoics Sicav - Emerging Sustainable Funds. Symbiotics also shared its field experience during a lunch presentation given by its regional managers, and headed small workshop discussions on key topics, including forex strategies, pension funds strategies, listed equities and listed bonds in the area of impact investing.
Fabio Sofia, Head of Investor Relations remarks: "We were really pleased to see so many people coming from the traditional banking industry interested in microfinance and impact investing. We were able to give a larger view point of this growing asset class with the addition of larger banks joining us in the panels and discussions to stress the importance of moving into these markets and creating opportunity in sustainable development for investors. The excellent turnout and diversity allowed for some very interesting exchanges."
