The Geneva Forum for Sustainable Investment 2012 edition was a success
Symbiotics was a lead sponsor, with Banque Sarasin, of the 2012 edition of the Geneva Forum Sustainable Investment held on June 8th. Over 200 participants joined the conference organized by Sustainable Finance Geneva and European Investor Relations. They included many private bankers and institutional investors, but also private and corporate investors.
Paul Polman, CEO of Unilever, gave the keynote speech on sustainable growth and long term business models. Roland Dominicé, CEO of Symbiotics presented the company's new fund of fund, "Symbiotics Emerging Sustainable Funds". Other topics, all analyzed and discussed through the lense of sustainability criteria, included Swiss real estate, the Swiss SME market, global finance, bond fund management, resource scarcity, agricultural finance and impact measurement. The day ended with a roundtable entitled: "From microfinance to impact investing" moderated by Fabio Sofia, head of Investor Relations at Symbiotics.
