Roland Dominicé, CEO.
Prior to co-founding Symbiotics, Roland worked for BlueOrchard Finance as their CFO for three years, as well as for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Geneva in management consulting, for McKesson in San Francisco in corporate finance, and for UBS Switzerland in institutional asset management. He holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute (IHEID) in Geneva and a master’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago.
Boris Vetsch, CFO/HR Director.
Prior to joining Symbiotics in 2007, Boris worked for the largest pharmaceutical chain in Geneva as the CFO and later became their CEO for four years. Before this, he was an auditor at Ernst & Young for ten years. He also worked as a volunteer finance officer in a humanitarian NGO in Calcutta, India, a financial analyst in a multilateral agency and headed a small family business. Boris holds a degree in Business and Management, a degree in Accounting and a degree in Marketing Communication.
Yvan Renaud, CRO/OPS Director.
Yvan joined Symbiotics as an operations and risk manager in 2005. Prior to this, he worked for BlueOrchard Finance where he was an operations manager, after having been an investment analyst. Before this, he was a microfinance consultant in Peru and a small enterprise consultant in Western Africa. He also worked for five years at Capital International in Geneva as a fund accountant, an operations analyst and a project manager. Yvan holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Geneva and a master’s degree in Social Policy and Planning from the London School of Economics.Finance, HR & Administration

Salah Elamin, Finance Officer.
Prior to joining Symbiotics in 2009, Salah worked for three years at Procter & Gamble International Operations in Geneva, as a product supply planner and as a marketing assistant. He was responsible for the launch of new products, HR and marketing budgeting monitoring. He also participated in the implementation of a new portfolio management database for Western Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. Salah holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Ecole de Commerce André-Chavanne in Geneva.
Leticia Leon Campos, Office Manager.
Leticia has cumulated over 25 years of experience in the Mexican financial sector, working as a credit analyst with Banco Santander, as a branch director for BanNorte, and as an account manager for IXE Banco. Leticia holds an MBA from the Banking and Commercial School of Mexico City, as well as a postgraduate degree in Strategic Planning and Merchandising.Information Technology

Gilles Bayon, Senior IT Engineer.
Prior to joining Symbiotics in 2008, Gilles worked as a systems architect for industry leaders such as Cambridge Technology Partners, Framfab and Osiatis, working in a broad range of business and technical domains, applying agile methodologies, open source software, Microsoft .NET to the development of many applications. Gilles is mostly known on the Internet as the head developer behind iBATIS.NET, an open-source data mapper for .NET. Gilles holds a master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Grenoble.
Clément Beffa, IT Engineer.
Prior to joining Symbiotics in 2010, Clément worked for two years in a small private hedge fund based in Switzerland. He was responsible for the research, development and maintenance of an automated market-neutral system with multi-million dollar assets under management. Clément holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) and did his master's thesis in the Hewlett-Packard Labs in Bangalore, India.Marketing Communications

Claire Dorey, Communication Officer.
Prior to joining Symbiotics in 2010, Claire worked as a communication officer for Polo Ralph Lauren. More recently, she has been teaching business English to professionals in multi-national companies. She also co-founded a Lake Geneva "What's On" magazine. Claire holds a bachelor's degree in French literature and business translation from the University of Iowa and obtained the TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate from Rutger's University, New Jersey.
Julia Minici, Marketing Research & Strategy Analyst.
Prior to joining Symbiotics in 2010, Julia was responsible for carrying out a market research study for a medium-sized Italian company specialized in consumer goods, Carla b, for ten months. Formerly, she worked in the Marketing and Promotion department at the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and as a Public Relations assistant for PRCo Columbus in Moscow, Russia. Julia holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University, Milan.Operations & Risk Management

Nicolas Pinguely, Forex Manager.
Prior to joining Symbiotics in 2010, Nicolas worked as an economist for leading Swiss newspapers and economic media. Before this, he was a private banking associate director at the Société Générale Bank & Trust in Geneva. Subsequently, he worked for seven years at UBS as a foreign exchange trader, a foreign exchange associate director and a sales manager. Nicolas holds a master's degree in political science from the University of Geneva and a Swiss Certificate in journalism.
Yannick Bruttin, Senior Analyst.
Yannick is in charge of our pipeline and origination functions. Before joining Symbiotics in 2008, he worked for five years at the Lloyds Bank in the corporate action department and back office operations in Geneva. He also participated in various education and technology projects. Yannick holds a master's degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute (IHEID) in Geneva and attended a master’s program in Public Administration at the University of Geneva.
